COCAFCAL members now hold several certifications, including Organic, Fairtrade, Utz, Smithsonian Bird Friendly and Rainforest Alliance. The premiums received from these certifications have enabled the cooperative to contribute to a number of community development projects, such as a new soccer field for youth in the community, improved wood-burning stoves, support of the local health clinic and school, community trash recipients and a new library.

The Association of Coffee Producers Juan Marco El Palto (APC JUMARP) is an association of small producers in the high-altitude rainforests of northern Peru.
